I rage quit a dead end job once. It was the most cathartic thing I’ve ever done. Stupidest, too. But I survived, and fifteen years on it makes for a hell of a story. You’ll do fine.

I’ll also offer the same thing as Trail of Blown HGs. Free drinks from me if you come to SA! I wish I had some kind of connection for you, but I’m but a humble college student right now. Although it may be worth checking out Uber or DoorDash or something in the meantime. The former and postmates and such don’t have vehicle year requirements so you can use your rad 10 year old Volvo for them.

Good luck, I just did the same thing a couple weeks ago. Got a job but haven’t been able to start yet so ended up with a couple weeks vacation that I totally can’t afford. It’ll be good in the end though money’s just tight right now as I’m sure it is for you too, just hang in there, a toxic work environment has such a negative effect on your whole life it’s not worth it.

Did that once. Call center - tech support for internet. Came to start shift and couldnt bear to log into the phone another day and turned in my badge right then.

The money was better than most but getting yelled at every day was SOOO bad for my mental health.

Youll find something awesome to replace it! I did.
